We welcomed developers, clients, manufacturers, local authorities, education providers, policy and industry bodies to the new EH Smith Design Centre in Digbeth for our first event as a Cluster.
The aim was to bring people together around building an ecosystem in the Midlands that delivers more homes, better, using innovation and R&D and also trains local people into the construction jobs of the future.

Jeff Endean commented:

"The venue really signified the ethos of our Cluster, and how our companies are aligned to a changing sector - EH Smith is a long standing business, rooted in the manufacturing heritage of the West Midlands, and is innovating incrementally both in manufacturing and in the use of digital design tools. This is not radical system change, it is meaningful innovation driven by people and
businesses, with significant experience and capability."
